O’Neill Brothers’ Music on the Billboard Charts!!

We got some great news this week – because of our successful appearance on QVC earlier this month, our compilation of romantic piano music (From the Heart) hit number 30 on the Billboard Pop Catalog Chart this week. Check out the February 19th issue of Billboard magazine to see us on the list with the likes of Ray Charles, Josh Groban and Norah Jones!

We’re thrilled to have made the Billboard chart, and we’re especially excited that our growing number of fans now includes the thousands and thousands of QVC viewers who have recently discovered our music.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with our From the Heart 3-Pack, it’s a 49-song set of romantic love songs, and many people use selections from the 3 discs for various parts of their wedding ceremony or reception. It contains popular favorites such as Candle in the Wind, My Heart Will Go On (from Titanic), Terms of Endearment, The Rose, Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring, Moon River, and Edelweiss. You can check out the complete song list and listen to clips here: www.pianobrothers.com/music/fromheart/index.asp.

Hope you had a great weekend!

First Blog Post

Hi! Welcome to The O’Neill Brothers new weblog. We thought it’d be a great idea to set up a place where we could share what’s going on in our world, post updates while we're on tour, talk about the people, places and things we encounter along the way and share some of our helpful wedding music expertise.

For those of you who haven’t met us yet, we’re Tim & Ryan O’Neill. We’re brothers from Minnesota who record relaxing solo piano music. We have 18 albums of soothing piano music in various themes, including love songs, movie themes, Broadway favorites, inspirational tunes, Irish songs (of course!), original compositions and wedding music. We founded our own independent record label back in 1997, and to date, have sold more than 1,000,000 CDs.

And right now, on the heels of the success of our first wedding album, A Day to Remember: Volume 1, we’re in the studio recording a second volume of traditional, contemporary and original wedding ceremony and reception music. A big thanks to all of the brides we’ve heard from who’ve used our disc to help with the music for their big day. For those of you who may be looking for wedding music ideas right now – check out this page of our website: http://www.pianobrothers.com/music/adaytoremember/index.asp. There's also a sheet music book that goes along with ADTR: Vol. 1, so if you find what you're looking for, you can give the EXACT arrangement to your wedding accompanist.

There's always more information about us and our music on our Web site, http://www.pianobrothers.com/. In the coming months, stay tuned for all sorts of behind-the-scenes tidbits and helpful wedding music planning hints. There’s more to come!
